This workshop starts at 12am and finishes at 6pm, with 1 hour break.
On this one day workshop, in a small class, you will be introduced to the techniques of throwing pots and will be guided by our expert potter. At the end of the class you will have one pot that we fire and glaze for you.
In a small class, you'll work on a potters' wheel to shape clay, and try your hand at some throwing techniques, guided by our expert potters, with the aim of making a simple pot of your own by the end of the day. We'll help you explore this ancient and meditative craft, and guide you towards finding out which elements you enjoy most.
At the end of the day you will have one small piece you made, that we will fire and glaze for you, and we will contact you when they are ready for collection - usually within 2 months after the class.
Or you can leave your pot with us to be fired, and you can book onto one of our our Glazing Workshops to learn how to glaze your pot yourself.
