The Costume Room is a Dublin-based sustainable design studio founded by Irish designer Sinéad Roberts. The studio creates gender-neutral pieces defined by sculptural form and material integrity. Designed and made in Ireland, each piece is made using pure, ethically produced textiles including 100% pure Irish linen woven exclusively for The Costume Room by Emblem Weavers in County Wexford, handwoven Donegal tweed created exclusively for The Costume Room by master weaver Eddie Doherty in Ardara, County Donegal, and GOTS-certified raw organic indigo denim produced in Italy.
About The Costume Room
Irish designer Sinéad Roberts is founder and director at The Costume Room. Sinéad has designed and created for everything from theatre to marketing companies and everything in between before deciding to launch her own label in 2017. Sinéad is a hands on designer with an unconventional approach to fashion. Her gender neutral designs celebrate inclusiveness and diversity. She draws inspiration from nature, clean lines, the avant-garde, art deco, popular culture and its relationship with art and design.
