A fluid and feminine necklace with NAIIAD’s signature asymmetry. A delicate and tactile necklace which follows the contours and movements of the body… This asymmetry in this design creates an eye catching, modern piece of jewellery. The fluidity of the chain maille follows the curves of the neck down to the bust, where two faceted amethyst drops dance freely with every movement of the body. The chainmaille, handcrafted with small Sterling silver rings assemble one at a time, is woven in the modern Persian pattern. It falls in asymmetry on the bust to create an eye-catching yet delicate pendant.
The Persian chainmaille of this very feminine “Purple Drops” necklace is a light and delicate version of the Persian weave I use in other more substantial designs It is a light and very pleasant necklace to wear, with a beautiful fluidity and texture which reflects the light with every movement of the body… The necklace measures approximately 16 inches/40 cm long (length of the necklace around the neck until the joint of the chainmaille pendant). Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would prefer a longer necklace (there is a 10% additional cost per extra 2 inches / 5 cm).
The chainmaille pendants are approximately 4.5 cm & 6.5 cm long including the amethyst drops.
