Tea Towels, Wall Art or Tray Cloths? You decide. Colourful, Nature-inspired gifts to brighten up your kitchen, or any room in your home. This is where I started off, designing the 'Muscari' tea towel as a gift for a friend's special 'roundy' birthday. The response was so positive that I've developed my business to where it is today and have added five more floral tea towel designs, 'Sea Bindweed', 'Fritillaria', 'Kelp', 'Fuchsia' and 'Montbretia' to that original one. They have been very popular as holiday mementos for visitors to my stall and more recently as gifts to post to loved ones who can't make it home at the moment.
In shades and tones of sea-green, sand, grey and blue, the Kelp tea towel features a hand-drawn motif of blades of Kelp, a seaweed found growing in underwater 'forests' in shallow oceans. The colour palette was taken from a photo of one of our lurchers on Ballyquin beach, Co. Waterford, Ireland, with the surf rolling in behind her. Kelp was one of her favourite snacks when we were out walking by the sea.
All come with a hanging loop.
May be washed with a non-bio, mild detergent.
