Designer Deirdre Duffy of Wild Cocoon comes from a long line of hand knitters and crafters and her designs meld tradition with a modern sense of colour and texture which is inspired by her location in Co. Mayo on Ireland's Atlantic coast. Each of her scarves is woven on a foot powered floor loom and is made from pure lambswool. No design is the same and the scarves are made to order. This handmade scarf measures 230cm x 55cm and costs €210.

Scent can conjure up such a sense of place and nostalgia. What better way then to remember a weekend away than by taking a Rathbornes travel candle on your trip?
