Arran Street East's new Cityscape | Dublin collection

Building on their first colour collection, which was inspired by the fruit and vegetable markets in the vicinity of their studio in the centre of Dublin, Arran Street East have looked again to the city in which they live and work for an inspired new collection entitled Cityscape| Dublin.

Drawing on their Irish heritage, and on their interest in making and crafting cities, the designers and makers at Arran Street East have looked to the colours of the bricks and stones that make up the capital city's walls and streets, they've looked up to the slate and copper of the city's roofs and to the steel that makes this ancient city, nonetheless, a modern one.

Arran Street East also launched their first lighting collection earlier this year in which the architecturally-inspired shapes of their main collection flow through their new designs. Their pendant lights feature the glazes of their new Cityscape| Dublin collection and also those of their previous Markets collection.

Arran Street East also now offer a wide range of classes including five-day morning courses teaching the fundamental skills of throwing and hand-building clay; one-day throwing workshops; one-off evening throwing workshops aimed at advanced beginners and three-day, mid-week throwing workshops.

Food-lovers will also be interested in their Simple Food for Fast Times workshops with their collaborator Aoife McElwain, author of Slow At Work: How To Work Less, Achieve More and Regain Balance in an Always-On World.

These intimate Saturday morning workshops see Aoife share her go-to recipes for beginner cooks or those who feel they've no time to cook. A light breakfast and lunch is included.
