We also spoke to jeweller and goldsmith Paul Coyne about his unique bespoke items of Irish jewellery combining wood and silver, as well as his collection of handmade silver jewellery including his Cobbles collection which is inspired by his time training as a goldsmith in Kilkenny City. A former furniture designer, Paul custom-makes Irish jewellery for private and corporate clients, utilising wood of significance to the client – such as the wood from the whiskey barrels at Tullamore Dew or that of a fruit tree in the garden of a client’s home.
