The Morning Session is a half-day workshop at Arran Street East aimed at beginners and advanced beginners who want to expand their knowledge and further develop techniques of throwing pots.
In a small class, you'll work on a potters wheel to shape clay. You will be guided by our expert potters, with the aim of making more complex shapes by the end of the day. We'll help you advance your basic skills and we’ll guide through variety of techniques.
Each one-off workshop follows the same format, running from 10am to 2pm in our lovely Arran Street East studio in the heart of the Dublin Fruit and Vegetable Markets area.
We'll provide all the materials you'll need. All you need to do is pick a date that suits you and look forward to getting started working with clay.
At the end of the day you will have two small pieces you made, that we will fire and glaze for you, and we will contact you when they are ready for collection - usually within 2 months after the class.
Or you can leave your pot with us to be fired, and you can book onto one of our our Glazing Workshops to learn how to glaze your pot yourself.
