The Caulfield Country Boards team is a family affair providing high quality, long lasting, distinctive pieces that will enrich kitchen experiences and enhance social dining occasions. Owing its heritage to Caulfield Joinery, which was established in 1976 by John Caulfield, Caulfield Country Boards was set up by brother and sister team, Pearse and Louise, in response to the economic downturn.

Pearse pursued a degree in philosophy whilst continuing to work as a joiner and glazier, graduating in 2012. Meanwhile Louise worked as geologist in the mining industry in Australia between 2009 and 2011, having graduated with a degree in geology in 2007. They began to make and sell wooden chopping boards at local farmers markets in 2012. This progressed to exhibiting at international trade shows and they now supply over 100 home, gift and kitchen retailers throughout Ireland.
